TECHNICAL EVENTS..!

1) PAPYRUS (PAPER PRESENTATION)

TOPIC : Any topic related to food processing, food safety, food security, food waste management and food storage.

1. Each team can consist a maximum of 3 members.
2. The time duration for a paper is constrained to 5 minutes, followed by a Q&A session for 2 minutes.
3. Participants are allowed to make their presentation with not more than 12 slides.


2) STICKY NOTES ( POSTER PRESENTATION )

1.Team members can contain 3 students at maximum .
2. Presentation should be completed within 5 minutes.
3. Poster should be in an effective manner clearly depicting the contents and relevant to Food Technology.
4. Use font and font size readable to attendees.
5. Layout and format must be organized and concise.


3) HIGHLIGHTERS ( Start - up Idea)

1. A team can consist of 3 members.
2. Ideas should be new and related to food and agriculture.
3. Time for each presentation is 5 minutes and 2 minutes for questioning.


4) FLASH IT ( Problem Solving )

1. A team can consist maximum of 3 numbers
2. Time of presentation- max 8 min
3. The participants must present their ideas in ppt only
4. A team can select any one of problems (posted below)
5. Evaluation is based on effective analyzation of problem, feasibility of solution and is NOT based on number of selection of problems

The questions for problem statements will also be sent to the respective participants through mail.

NON - TECHNICAL EVENTS..!

1) ALOHOMORA ( QUIZ )

Participants are going to play this quiz game as a team. Team will be formed by our event coordinators after the prelims.

2) TECHNO MARKETING

1). A team can consist maximum of 3 participants.
2).Participants will be given a product and shall be asked to market the particular product on the spot.
3). Participants can explain the merits of the product, reason for choosing and other related information of the product.
5). Participants must emphasize value-added differentiation, utilizing marketing techniques to increase the value of an existing product/commodity or service.
6). Participants must assume that they are operating in an established market with a primary objective being the displacement of major competitors to gain market share.


3) TEST YOUR SENSES

A variety of food products will be displayed and the participant will be asked to find out the flavor of the sample that will be showcased.

4) UNTIE THE KNOTS

1. Prelims will be conducted based on registration.
2. It will be divided into 2 teams (10 members per team).
3. One person from each team should play a task and after completion passing on to second person.
4. Winner will be the team who complete it first.
